I'm opening a new thread in the right section, since the last one was really about the new changes. I thought it would be nice to have a thread devoted to episode watching.

I had a minor panic episode just now because our DishNetwork got shut off and I had to figure our what Jeff's login was so I could go pay the lousy $15 they shut it off for. I didn't think I'd get to watch tonight! But all is well now. Whew!

Who's excited for tonight? I AM!

This might seem like a silly question, but is Mark on tonight or no?

Mark was not on Wednesday's show, but he's supposed to be on Thursday.

I guess I'm ok with the top 10. I would have like to have seen Arielle (I know she didn't make top 24, but still) in there instead of Melinda and then Anthony somewhere in the guys. But eh, I'm ok.

Was last night's show worth watching? I have it saved on TiVo and I'm not sure if I'll bother watching it.

Am definitely going to keep the shows from here on out though. Not going to make the same mistake as I did with Season 4. If only I can figure out how to condense the videos and burn them to DVD.

I don't personally mind that Anthony didn't make it. It's not that I don't like his dancing, but I don't really like that build on a contemporary dancer. It ends up looking less graceful to me. I did feel bad for him that everyone else had family or friends around, and it was just him alone in his apartment. I really wanted him to have someone to hug him after Mia left.

I am tentatively on board the Alex Wong train. I can't keep my eyes off him when he dances, and I do not see the lack of personality/passion that the judges seem to see. I think the guys are going to be amazing this season overall, though. The girls, meh. I'm slightly underwhelmed.

Alex mentions that he would love to dance with Mark in this interview. I would SO love to see that happen.

I'm so glad Mark is back on my screen!

Can I just say how amused I am that Mark wore suits in both of his numbers? Hello, deja vu. Anyway, he KILLED it. Killed it dead.

BTW, I think I may have to sign off TWoP for a while. I've been over here in Wubland so long, I forgot how controversial Mark is over there. It's stressing me out. And I'm sitting here wanting to scream "what, are you blind? HOW DO YOU NOT SEE?!"

Yes! I second that, Diana, ohmygosh last night was fantastic. He did sooooo well!

And what's this about TwoP getting after him?! How could they?!

It's just a few people at the moment, going on about his limitations or how he was never "that good." Whatever. I'm trying to just ignore them. I struggle with that, though!

No offense to those who are biased against Mark (yeah, right ), but I won't wipe my feet around those who insult him. It's not like they're going to be persuaded with words if they can't see with their own eyes how special he is.

BUT I absolutely LOVED Mark last night!!! Oh, my gosshshshsshshssh, he was fantastic. I had to watch it around 11:30 in my niece's house when almost everyone had gone to bed after her graduation, but one of my other niece's had to sleep on the couch, so I couldn't watch it more than once, but now that I've FINALLY gotten home (the trip from HELLLLLLL), I've been able to put a smile on my face again watching Mark on a continous slowmotion playback.

There's a subtle part right at the beginning of Wade's piece that I love. First, of course, Mark gives that sly little smirk that I love, but then when he drinks the tea, his eyes go all wide like he's drinking the Mad Hatter's crazy tea to take him to Wonderland. It's a great little moment.

I was really surprised in Travis' piece that Kathryn was holding her own with Mark performance-wise. I didn't feel much for her last season, but I'm definitely warming to her.
